This insensitivity is not only seen in adults but also students. As a teacher, I have witnessed this first-hand in my classroom, and it breaks my heart to see how some students are treated just because they have specific disabilities. Recently, I came across a situation in my class that made me reflect on the insensitivity of students towards their disabled classmates. It all started when I noticed Amit, a slow learner in my class, struggling to keep up with the other students.
